I love In His Steps Again. I could have finished it in one day, but chose to drag it out because I am enjoying it so much, I do not want it to end. I would like to buy ten more copies. It will make perfect gifts………Faye Poenisch, Grove City, OH

Wow, what a ride! I really couldn’t put it down. I thought it was a great combination of real situations and real people I could identify with………………………………………………………………………..Jean Bubeck, U.S.A./U.K.

I thought it was terrific. It outlines many of the problems we face, in a personal and dramatic manner. I must admit that the rescue brought tears to my eyes………………..Pete Palmer, Boca Raton, FL, Author/Editor of dozens of books

I couldn’t put it down. It’s a page-turner……………….Dennis Hulick, Leesburg, FL

In His Steps Again will give you a lot of powerful material to think about……………………………..Pat Williams, Orlando, Author of more than 50 books

Intriguing and thought-provoking book………….Kathleen Marsh, Townsend, WI

This book is a classic………………………………………..Delrose Brown, Clermont, FL

When David Heeren conceived the brilliant idea of writing a sequel to Charles Sheldon’s famous In His Steps, he undertook a very challenging assignment. He has succeeded in bringing forward the question raised in the 1896 best-seller – “What would Jesus do?” – up to date in our totally different environment 100 years later. His anecdotal style, in modern terminology, takes the reader through a series of dilemmas and difficulties confronting a young minister committed to walking as precisely in the steps of Jesus as he could for one year. Readers will find the results interesting and compelling………….D. James Kennedy, Ph. D (deceased), Author, Preacher on TV’s Coral Ridge Hour

What happens when Christians pledge to do as Jesus would do for one year?

Charles M. Sheldon told the original version of the story, in 1896, in the classic novel In His Steps. Now, more than a century later, David Heeren posits the same question in a different atmosphere with surprising results.

A group of Floridians who take the pledge see their lives heading in unexpected new directions. Some find romance and adventure. Others face danger and suspense in the midst of a hurricane. All have their faith tested in heart-rending ways ranging from spousal infidelity and loss of income to false arrest and forcible seizure of their children.

The Lord works in mysterious ways, even in the midst of the storm, for the accomplishment of His purposes in their lives.

In His Steps Again originally was slated for publishing in fall of 2006. D. James Kennedy, founder of Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church, preacher on TV’s Coral Ridge Hour, and author of more than sixty-five books, read the manuscript at that time and wrote this critique, which appears on the back cover of the book:

“When David Heeren conceived the brilliant idea of writing a sequel to Charles Sheldon’s famous In His Steps, he undertook a very challenging assignment. He has succeeded in bringing forward the question raised in the 1896 bes-seller — “What would Jesus do?” — up to date in our totally different environment 100 years later. His anecdotal style, in modern terminology, takes the reader through a series of dilemmas and difficulties confronting a young minister committed to walking as precisely in the steps of Jesus as he could for one year. Readers will find the results interesting and compelling.”

Pat Williams, senior vice president of the Orlando Magic and author of more than fifty books with inspirational themes, wrote these remarks for the back cover: “David Heeren is a terrific addition to the writing industry. His new book, In His Steps Again, will give you a lot of powerful material to think about.”

Signed, discounted copies of In His Steps Again (list price $13.99, 372 pages) are available only from the author. There is a five percent discount for single copies of the book and a ten percent discount for two or more copies. On orders of three or more copies, the shipping and handling charge ($3 per book) will be waived.

The author is offering a special discount of thirty percent on orders of one or more copies of both of the books featured on this website.

To order or to obtain more information about either book, contact the author at enoch7@comcast.net. Or the author may be reached by mail at P.O. Box 383, Howey-in-the-Hills, FL 34737.
